The easiest way to explain the operation of the Ace of Spades Attachment is to compare it to a shovel. It is a mechanically operated shovel. With that in mind, it is easy to understand that the front (load line*) is the tool and the rearward portion merely is an extension. It is designed to mimic the standard method of manual clean out. Whereas the material is removed from around the tail pulleys, screens, crushing equipment, bin feeders, etc. and placed into piles. These piles are removed off site with a standard bucket attachment.
It is not intended for tramming material. This may cause damage to the machine and/or voiding of tool warranties. It is strictly a load and dump operation.
In areas where tramming for short distances cannot be avoided a smooth haul surface should be maintained along with safely reduced speeds.
This tool not only addresses an economical approach to spillage removal, but with safety as a major factor. Caution should always be exercised when operating in tight areas. A certain amount of practice may be required to become familiar with the different action of this attachment. With time and use, operation will become easier and much more fluid.
